To the greatest extent possible, I’ve been trying to begin each day with a walk on the beach.
In doing so, I have developed a watchful eye and powerful appreciation for sand patterns and formations.
In addition to wind and water influence, the position and quality of light as well as the color and grain of sand, all have a say with regard to appearance.
With an occasional deft touch of composition contributed by animal or mineral.
Even within the regularly occurring patterns, there often exists wild variance.
With almost every visit revealing an original work that I have yet to encounter.
Each one a timeless masterpiece, whose time is running short.
Because no matter how marvelous, every transient creation will be altered or eradicated by the elements within hours.
Twice daily replaced by an entirely new canvas in accordance with lunar will.
A fresh expanse of inspiration, and endless opportunity for my beating heart to be made still.
When you said you are your own photographer...you weren't kidding! These photos are spectacular and show that you have an amazing eye for the natural beauty found in nature. Keep 'em coming!
Those would be cool to view in a photo gallery.
